I am the daughter of an entrepreneur in the restaurant business for 40 years. Early on, I Iearned the tenacity and grit needed to be an entrepreneur.  As a result of my upbringing, I turned my passion and embedded skill set for business into a professional career in technology and business development, mostly for Fortune 500 companies. I have helped companies achieve revenue and profitable growth by building collaborative working relationships, defining the strategic growth plan, and removing barriers to accelerate the corporation’s visions and revenue objectives. 

Along my journey, I received a call from a retained recruiter for a supplier diversity nonprofit organization looking for a business development leader.  I had never heard of supplier diversity but the name itself piqued my interest enough that I interviewed, was offered the position, and accepted.  At the nonprofit is where I met some amazing people, who were committed to the mission of supplier diversity and creating economic impact for everyone.  I vowed to stay connected to supplier diversity but in the most productive way for corporations and diverse businesses that I knew how, which was through my passion for business development, technology, and entrepreneurship. Hence how Spotzcity was born.

Spotzcity is a SaaS company designed for organizations starting supplier diversity programs, beginning stages of a supplier diversity program, wanting to learn more about supplier diversity or enhance their supplier diversity program.

I decided that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in supplier diversity, where the real economic impact happens by inviting everyone in. Supplier diversity is the real engine for access to more opportunities which builds better communities, one of the most promising opportunities for corporations to explore new markets and a key component to increasing a corporation’s revenue.
